TX3 HQV Video Processor
The Realta HQV video engine by Silicon Optix is powered by Teranex's professional broadcast-quality video processing platform. It encompasses true 10-bit video processing, full four-field, pixel-based, motion-adaptive video deinterlacing for both SD and HD signals, temporal-recursive and codec noise reduction, automatic multicadence detection, and pixel-based detail enhancement.
Silicon Optix's HQV, or Hollywood Quality Video, is one of the industry's newest developments in video display and projection technology. The HQV processor performs more than one trillion operations per second - the same video processing power as the famous $60,000 Teranex Xantus box - and delivers superior video image quality using 10-bit video processing and other features to resolve conflicts between native pixel resolution and different pixel source material. The technology uses pixel-based (rather than frame-based) motion adaptation and detail enhancement to more accurately process de-interlaced images. Even standard broadcast video images are upscaled for improved viewing on a large screen.
The Epson® PowerLite® Pro Cinema 1080 projector and its TX3 HQV Video Processor are the perfect fit for your professional level home theater.
