Description: Home Theater was completed in 10/2006 in small space in the basement. The theater size is 9.25' x 18', creating a challenge for adequate setting and equipment placement. Seven Regal Rocker chairs used with Silver Screening carpet. Three small black ottomans used for additional seating. Three poster holders in theater used to hold "Coming Soon" movies. Walls are painted gray with black door trim and gold crown molding, all to coordinate with carpet.
Leading into theater is lighted poster frame for "Now Showing" movies with small marquee for movie times, name of theater and sound signs.
Equipment used included Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector, Sony Blu-ray DVD player, Denon Surround sound receiver AVR-2307CI with 5.1 in-wall speakers. Fixed Da-Lite 92" screen. Components controlled by single Sony remote control contained in closet of the home theater.
Outside theater is wet bar (pub area) with microwave to prepare fresh movie theater popcorn and 20" HD TV for sports show viewing. On bar includes touch screen video game machine. Adjacent to bar is Quasicade video machine containing Sony PS2, leading into dedicated arcade room with in-wall Japanese Pachinko machine, Japanese slot machine and HD TV for Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii game machines. Completing the pub area includes billard table with ping pong table top (not pictured).
