This was my first true universal remote control that was used to control a modest home theater system, including an audio video receiver, dvd player, cd player, cable box, tv, and PS3. Setting up the remote was pretty straight forward through Harmony's website. Tech support is ready to help if needed. After all of the components are set up, the remote functions very well. It feels good in your hand and I never had an issue with battery life with the storage cradle(although the early models did have a cradle issue that was quickly resolved). The only drawback is the hardbutton layout doesn't lend itself to being used by memory in the dark. Only the main buttons can become second nature, but that is only a small gripe. Overall, a solid remote.

THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST INVESTMENT I MADE IN MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM THAT DIDN'T COST OVER 2 GRAND. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLICATED , SINGLE EVERYTHING SYSTEM LIKE ME I.E SEPERATE TUNER,HDDVD, BLU RAY DVD, SACD, PREPRO,5 DISC CHANGER , THE LIST GOES ON AND YOUR LOOKING ONE REMOTE TO DO IT ALL. THIS IS IT!! USE THERE 90 DAY FREE SUPPORT TO HURRY UP AND LEARN HOW TO PROGRAM IT, TAKE NOTES AFTER THAT IT COST BIG TIME, BUT IF YOU SPEND SOME VERY SOLID UNINTERUPTED TIME WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE, AFTER YOU HAVE MAPPED OUT WHAT YOU WANT YOUR REMOTE TO DO IT AND HOW TO DO IT, THEN YOUR TIME SPENT WILL BE WELL REWARDED.
