I don’ t know about you, but Coconut oil is what you NEED to get that Movie Theater taste for your popcorn. Sure Canola oil is better for you and works almost as well, but go nuts! Get the Coconut!

Comments:

This is what you need to make the popcorn you had as a kid in the '70's. The color, scent flavor and "mouth feel" are on the money. Run this in your kettle and the room smells like the lobby you stood in while waiting to see Star Wars the first time.

Pros:

Small bars, good smoke point, great taste and feel. Coats the popcorn nicely leaving the classic yellow look to the popped kernels.

Cons:

Because this is a solid at room temperature it is a bit harder to clean up than say canola oil - the taste make up for this however.
