Dimensions: 8.5" x 6.5" x 5" -- Be sure to allow 12" clearance around the illuminator to dissipate heat and ensure safety
Note: Access above the ceiling or behind the wall/surface is necessary to attach the fiber strands.
ATTACHING FIBER STRANDS
Drill 1/16" holes through the ceiling/surface where fiber star points are to be located. Drill bit is not included.
Insert fiber optic strands through the ceiling/surface, making sure to leave 4" or more of fiber exposed on the viewing side.
Secure the fiber strands in each drilled hole by using a silicon or epoxy adhesive. Let the adhesive stand for 24 hours before proceeding unless using a quick-drying epoxy.
Paint ceiling/surface the desired color.
Clip excess fiber off so that end of fiber is now flush with ceiling/surface.
Insert fiber optic coupler into the illuminator.
Plug the illuminator into a 120-volt AC outlet and turn the rocker switch to the "On" position.
