No place for your screen on the ceiling? No problem. With Stewart Filmscreen's Automatic Vertical Screen (AVS) system, the screen ascends from a decorative floor enclosure, rather than descending from within a ceiling-mounted case. Stewart's scissors system smoothly raises the screen up to its maximum extension. The floor enclosure's unique trapdoor design opens before the screen's ascent, and closes back shut once the screen is fully descended..
The Automatic Vertical Screen is a Stewart screen, and as such it's available with any of Stewart's award-winning front projection materials. The patented Tab-Guy screen tension system keeps the screen surface nice and smooth for an ideal projected image. Professional matte black borders increase percieved contrast and absorb light spillover.

 | | These screens are great for rooms with high or otherwise less than ideal ceilings, where hanging a screen would otherwise be a problem. There's also just something really cool about seeing a screen rise up! | |
