Entry Level Shav-A-Doo U.L. Approved Snow Cone Machine has a stainless steel box covering motor, 1/3 Horse Power Motor, compact, 20"W x 14"D, open back, no doors. Plastic Sno-Kone Dipper #1088 included, UL listed. This is the least expensive shaver that carries the Underwriters Laboratory listing. The compact Shav-A-Doo occupies 20" wide x 14" deep. 120 volts, 792 watts, 6.6 amps. Not lighted. Top half not removable. A little smaller than the Sno-Konette.

Main differences between this model and the #1803 Shav-A-Doo is there is a stainless steel box that covers the motor for this one and not the #1803 but the #1803 has an internal light to illuminate the snow in the cabinet. Two Piece Shav-A-Doo Snow Cone Machine available as well (#1903). The two piece has a removable top half and no internal light.

Aluminum Drip Pan #1207 is optional for all the Shav-A-Doo models, select this drip pan in the recommended accessories section. Sno-Kone machines are cold - and therefore, a lot of condensation will form on the windows and cabinet or frame parts and run down.

WHAT DOES UL APPROVED MEAN? It means that a not-for-profit, independent laboratory has tested samples of products to safety requirements and conducts periodic checks of manufacturers' facilities. Manufacturers submit products to UL for testing and safety certification on a voluntary basis. Use of UL is not required by law.
