Even though you’ve chosen the right place to go for your Home Theatre
equipment, you are still making a significant investment in what you hope to
be a wonderful room...to make that movie theater experience. In home theaters,
the rubber meets the road on the screen. Performance should be your prime consideration
when choosing a screen since it is for permanent installation.
Acoustically transparent materials provide an enhanced theatrical experience.
However, they are not recommended for screens smaller than 80" wide when
used with DLP and LCD projectors. Acoustically transparent screens do not compromise
picture or sound quality. You can place loudspeakers behind it with no performance
penalty, and enjoy projection images completely free of the moiré interference
patterns that plague traditional vinyl perforated screens.
There are no holes that create moiré, and the screen does not degrade
sound quality.
AT1200 and AT Grey is available in fixed and electric retractable models, in
standard and custom widths. Instead of using snaps or Velcro®, the screen
fabric is stretched evenly via self-tensioning V-shaped grooves. A spring tension
insert grabs the fabric and locks it firmly into the frame with no bowing or
creasing.
