HT Design second-tier home theater risers are 12 inches high, allowing you to raise an additional row of theater seating above the first row for improved sightlines. The HT Design riser system makes it easy and affordable to create a home theater seating platform that looks as good as it performs, is built to last and is designed to fit standard home theater seating.
HT Design platform bases are constructed from solid hardwood and are available in a selection of wood species and finishes. Each 24-inch-wide riser section ships fully assembled and is joined together on site using brackets.
The riser ships completely finished on the visible sides and trim. The top surface is unfinished and ready for carpeting. A concealed channel beneath the front trim also allows installation of an optional LED lighting strip.
Order an individual center riser section or a complete riser row in a variety of widths. Please consult your theater seat dimensions to ensure proper sizing. Photos may show other riser heights and seating configurations for illustration purposes.
Room Planning: Add approximately 1 inch for the edge overhang on each side when determining the overall space required in your room. The edge overhang allows optional LED lighting to be installed beneath the riser trim.
