If you desire a projection screen which is completely concealed from view when it's not being used, Stewart Filmscreen's Stealth Trapdoor system was designed with your exactly your situation in mind.

Stewart's 2.35:1 Cinescope ratio Stealth Trapdoor is available with Stewart's renowned front projection materials. What's more, the exclusive Stewart Filmscreen Tab-Guy tension system keeps the image surface smooth and flat every time. The standard 6" black dropdown (custom lengths are no problem*) and professional black bordering absorbs overscan and excess light while providing contrast, resulting in a perfect cinematic experience

HTmarket Expert Tip
The 2.35:1 Cinemascope format is the standard format for many of the top Hollywood films of yesterday and today. A wider, narrower screen shape, it's the ratio of choice for many directors. Choosing a 2.35:1 screen ensures that you'll be enjoying your films the way the director intended, and if you go with a Stewart screen, you'll be choosing the screen manufacturer Hollywood prefers as well!

*It is important to add only the amount of black drop needed. Side and bottom masking determined by the amount of black drop and image size.

Standard Features:
  • Electronically controlled retractable screen and trapdoor system
  • 3-1/4 inch diameter roller tube with sound-dampening insulated screen drive
  • Available with a variety of Stewart's award winning front and rear projection materials
  • Exclusive Tab-Guy™ tensioning system ensures a smooth flat and screen surface
  • Matte black over-scan border* provides for a perfectly masked image area
  • Aluminum extrusion housing/case (standard white finish)
  • Self-finishing bottom plate with adjustable drywall flanges for recessed mounting
  • Standard Intelligent Motor Controller (IMC) w/Decora Wall Switch (optional controls available upon request)
  • ABT-Series Trapdoor model is available when larger screen size is needed
